Ruchira Chaudhary leads the firm’s cross-border business and strategic international engagements, bringing nearly three decades of experience spanning litigation, advisory services, international taxation, complex negotiations, contracts, and dispute resolution.

Based in California, Ruchira advises on structuring and advancing complex international mandates, translating strategic discussions into long-standing client relationships. She is engaged across the lifecycle of matters—from origination through completion—bringing seasoned judgment, commercial insight, and a disciplined, outcomes-driven approach.

Her work encompasses international business development, transaction strategy, and the orchestration of complex cross-border mandates, including outbound investments in sustainable and technology-driven sectors; cross-border mergers and acquisitions; the establishment of overseas entities and operations, and the leadership of multi-jurisdictional due diligence and integrated legal and tax work streams central to cross-border transactions. She engages with clients and jurisdiction-specific counsels across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, providing legal direction and strategic continuity across borders.

Ruchira brings a pragmatic and authoritative perspective to complex matters, advising on engagement structuring, sequencing, and commercials, and ensuring matters progress with clarity, accountability, and ability to achieve consensus as idem.

Complementing her cross-border practice, Ruchira serves as a FINRA-appointed Public Arbitrator in the United States. She serves on securities arbitration panels involving major U.S. financial institutions, contributing with an eye for detail, neutrality, and balanced judgment. Her arbitration experience reflects a strong commitment to procedural fairness, professional integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Her career includes having held senior leadership roles within leading professional organizations, as well as founding and leading a litigation-focused law firm. She has held senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she advised extensively on international taxation, structuring, regulatory compliance, due diligence, foreign investments, and market-entry strategies. She also led a core tax and advisory practice within the firm, overseeing litigation, due diligence, client development, and strategic advisory initiatives in complex regulatory environments. These experiences have honed her ability to integrate legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations in sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional matters.

Ruchira actively engages in global professional collaboration and regularly participates in international leadership forums, fostering sustained cross-border partnerships and institutional relationships.

In addition to her professional practice, she serves as a Board Member and Secretary of the Fountaingrove II Open Space Maintenance Association (OSMA) in California. OSMA is a large homeowners’ association managing around 600 single-family homes. In this role, Ruchira contributes to governance oversight, statutory and procedural compliance, and structured board decision-making, illustrating her steadfast belief in principled leadership and community stewardship.

She is a frequent speaker and writer on international taxation, cross-border contracts, negotiations, and dispute resolution, and is recognized for her ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, practical, and strategically aligned guidance.
