Ms. Sandhya Iyer is a senior member of the Corporate practice of the Firm at Mumbai and been associated with the Firm since 2007. She is a post graduate in Financial Management and a Solicitor (non-practicing) of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
Her areas of practice include Banking and NBFC laws, structured finance, dispute resolution, corporate transactions and advisory, insolvency and bankruptcy laws, Foreign Exchange laws, information technology laws and intellectual property. Her dispute resolution experience includes arbitration as well as litigation in the High Court, City Civil Court, SEBI, Securities Appellate Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunals, CLB, NCLT and various other quasi-judicial forums.
She is a frequent speaker at several national and international conferences and seminars on subjects like M&A, Banking, Foreign Direct Investment and Securitization and other topical issues. She has also been conducting training sessions in association with CRISIL Ltd. on ‘Legal aspects related to Securitization’ and other topics for banks, NBFCs and Corporates.
