Ms. Sandhya Iyer is a senior member of the Corporate practice of the Firm at Mumbai and been associated with the Firm since 2007. She also has industry experience of nearly 15 years in the Banking and Finance sector. Her areas of practice include Dispute Resolution, Information Technology Laws, Cybersecurity and Data Protection Laws, Banking and NBFC laws, Structured Finance, Insolvency And Bankruptcy Laws, Her dispute resolution experience includes arbitration as well as litigation in the High Court, City Civil Court, SEBI, Securities Appellate Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunals, CLB, NCLT and various other quasi-judicial forums.

She has advised several clients on banking documentation, securitization and direct assignment, external commercial borrowings, debt instruments, lending and providing security for obligations of non resident entities, factoring and other financing products. She has experience in the entire gamut of insolvency and bankruptcy laws having filed applications under section 7, 9, 94 and 95 of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, acted as legal advisor to resolution professionals and liquidators and advising resolution applicants in acquiring stressed companies.
