Mr. Yatin Narang is an Associate Partner with the Mumbai office of Vaish Associates Advocates and has been associated with the Firm since 2008. He has a total experience of about 12 years and specializes in mergers & acquisitions, restructuring of business, asset & share purchase deals, takeovers, intellectual property, joint ventures and strategic alliances, structuring of complex investments, private equity and general corporate advisory.

He also has a wide range of experience in advising clients in negotiating domestic & international outsourcing agreements; counselling on preserving rights in technology; technology licensing agreements, software development and distribution; internet legal issues for users, owners and service providers; telecom, e-commerce and mobile commerce ventures, regulatory issues related to foreign investment; royalty payments and repatriations; investment, acquisitions and divestments and private placements. He has also advised various start-up and emerging growth businesses, advising on matters ranging from formation to exit including corporate structuring, venture capital financing, employment, equity compensation and intellectual property.

He has been a speaker/ panelist at various conferences and seminars organized by universities, business associations and other bodies on Foreign Direct Investment, M&A, data protection laws and other topical issues. He has co-authored an article titled ‘General Data Protection Regulation – Do the Indian Companies realise its implications’ which was published in Corporate Law Adviser. He is a contributor to the ‘Investing Across Borders Project’, a World Bank Group Report providing objective measures of foreign direct investment regulation and its implementation with respect to India.
