Ms. Deepashree Rao is a Partner in the Direct Tax Practice and has been part of Vaish Associates Advocates since 2012. She has an experience of over 15 years in advising diverse clients in direct tax matters.

In her stint at Vaish, Ms. Deepashree has been extensively engaged in providing advisory and litigation services to various clients in the direct tax arena. She has been advising various Indian and multinational groups on both, international tax and domestic tax laws of India and regularly represents clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums and has assisted them in formulating litigation strategy, preparing comprehensive submissions, filings with tax authorities, etc.

She caters to a diverse client base, ranging from listed multi-national corporations and domestic conglomerates across various sectors including e-commerce, oil and gas, automotives, pharmaceutical, chemical, electronics, real-estate, hospitality and high net-worth individuals as well.

Ms. Deepashree is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has also completed her LLB. Prior to joining Vaish, she worked with one of the Big Four accountancy firms.
