Ms. Somya Jain is an integral member of the Income Tax team at Vaish Associates, with a core focus on Dispute Resolution and Advisory in the areas of corporate tax and international taxation.

Since joining the firm in May 2019, Ms. Jain has handled a wide range of tax matters and regularly represents clients before income-tax authorities and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal. Her advisory practice includes in-depth work on issues such as the interpretation of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, withholding tax obligations, cross-border taxation, and the taxation of trusts and charitable institutions.

Ms. Jain qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November 2018 and completed her LLB in 2022. She brings a strong analytical foundation to complex tax issues, backed by a growing portfolio of notable assignments and published work in the field of direct taxation.
